REP. KIHUEN TO ATTORNEY GENERAL SESSIONS: DON’T PROSECUTE MARIJUANA IN NEVADA

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Representative Ruben J. Kihuen sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions asking that the Department of Justice continue to not prosecute marijuana-related cases where the alleged crime is legal under state law. Last November, Nevada voters approved recreational marijuana sales. The measure will go into effect July 1, 2017. The full text of the letter is below.
